     Lake Dunmore is always a pleasure to visit. Camping at Lake Dunmore Kampersville is always a nice experience, and Sucker Brook is right next door to Lake Dunmore and is always a bliss to have a look at. This lake is so wonderful. Everybody nearby loves skiing at Sugarbush, and if you've had enough of Lake Dunmore, Silver Lake is nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Gotta ski! Mad River Glen is a good site to do that; the Keewaydin Trail offers hiking at its  
   best.
Rattlesnake Point is an exciting place to visit while at Lake Dunmore, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Falls of Lana Trail. Here at Lake Dunmore there are plenty of folks from Rutland; Salisbury Municipal Forest is worth checking out. During the summer months, highs regularly are in the 80's at Lake Dunmore while overnight lows are regularly in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's with temperatures at Lake Dunmore dipping down
 
               into the 0's all through winter nights.
Don't leave Lake Dunmore without first paying a visit to Falls of Lana, unsurprisingly you could also stop at Fern Lake since you're here; it's not far at all. Yep, outdoors cool things to do are beyond doubt abundant here at Lake Dunmore. The Middlebury Inn is a nice site to get some rest, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Lake Dunmore; Nature Trail is a good local trail. This lake is so wonderful.
The annual rain here at Lake Dunmore is about average; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain; the driest month of the year is February. You truly should go for Lake Dunmore. On a pretty day you acquire a view of Bryant Mountain from Lake Dunmore; if you come at the right time of year, Otter Creek offers some fine whitewater.
