What a nice lake Lake Clara is. Go for a hike on the Ghost Trail; whitewater paddling is perfect on Deerfield River. At Lake Clara during the summertime highs are in the 80's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 50's. Highs during the wintertime are commonly in the 30's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Lake Clara. After a long day outdoors Mt Snow Grand Summit Resort is a good spot to spend a night or two, and you can stay

This lake is so wonderful. Number Nine Brook is one of the streams nearby that might be worth checking out, also Lake Clara Dam is worth checking out if you're here. So many cool things near Lake Clara, just remarkable. Don't leave Lake Clara without first going for a hike along the Mount Olga Trail. Lake Clara is not the only place nearby, Wilmington Reservoir is a nearby lake; Mount Snow is a magnificent local ski area. There's wonderful hiking along the
Deerfield Ridge Trail, and a lake nearby is Lake Sadawga. This lake is so wonderful. The skiing at Haystack is wonderful, and get covered with water paddling on Dunbar Brook.
All the water falling down from the sky makes Lake
Clara a wet place; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain while February is regularly the driest month.
