    Why not stop by Lake Bomoseen if you're passing through these parts. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Lake Bomoseen; throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. For the duration of the winter the highs are usually in the 20's with temperatures at Lake Bomoseen dipping down into the 0's all through winter nights. Lake Bomoseen gets a normal amount of precipitation; during August this area sees the most rain, and February on  
   the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Lake Bomoseen is great enough to spend more than a day at, Bomoseen State Park Campground is a great local campground; hiking along the Half Moon Pond Trail is splendid fun.
Do schedule some time to have a look at Indian Bay near Lake Bomoseen if you have a chance, and Lake Bomoseen is right by the Glen Lake Trail. You just should fancy Lake Bomoseen. Dry warm beds await you at Lake Bomoseen Inn; camping
 
               at Lake Bomoseen Camp Ground is always a tremendous experience. There are some magnificent whitewater spots on Poultney River, and since you're here and you like golf, you can stop by Prospect Bay Country Club.
