Beautiful Kirby Pond has much to offer visitors. All through the summer months highs here at Kirby Pond get into the 70's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's. Through the winter this place gets highs in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Kirby Pond are in the 0's. | | can always go whitewater paddling on Ammonoosuc River, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Lyndon Outing Club is pretty near.
Kirby Pond is located in the Green Mountains. Be careful coming to the Green Mountains, you might not ever wanna return back home again. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always visit close by Johnson Pond, and one of the governing characteristics of the surroundings of Kirby Pond is Sugar Hill. That right there | |

is a heap of cool things already but it goes on, the Green Mountains has it all. The snow is great at Burke Mountain; Breezy Meadows Campground is a splendid local campground.
A perfect nearby hotel is Holiday Motel and Annex,
and going for a hike on the South Shore Hiking Trail is always a glorious adventure. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Fairbanks Inn is a perfect place to spend a night or two, and there is a good hiking trail close
by called the Bear Den Trail. Go for a hike on the Herbert Hawkes Hiking Trail.
There's just no way someone can get bored here at Kirby Pond. Near Kirby Pond you stumble on a golf course called St Johnsbury Country Club; Moose
River is a fine whitewater spot close by. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Kirby Pond, you'll come across Stiles Pond which is a beautiful lake; if you came for an overnight stay Burke Mountain Campgrounds is a magnificent site to camp.
