If you are in Windsor county it's always a good idea to stop by Kings Pond. Corporation Mountain is lovely and can be distinguished from Kings Pond; there's great hiking along the Chittenden Brook Cross-Country Ski Trail. The amount of precipitation that falls at Kings Pond is close to the national average; through the month of August you get the most rain around here, and the driest month of the year is February. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors

at Chittenden Brook Campground is always a great experience; lots of people from Rutland come here. The Green Mountains scenery is always beautiful. For you golfers we recommend nearby White River Golf Course, and hiking is a
popular thing to do around Kings Pond; Chittenden Brook Trail is a perfect local trail. Hit the slopes at Killington in the neighborhood. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Huntington House Inn is a brilliant
choice; a magnificent location for whitewater paddling is White River. This lake is so wonderful. A good close by hotel is Clear River Inn & Tavern, and Pico Mountain has glorious slopes and a friendly staff.
