This place, Kings Pond, it clearly has so much outdoors cool stuff. Very scenic scenery and glorious skiing is what you get at Killington. Kings Pond is one of the lakes here in the Green Mountains. An afternoon playing golf at White River Golf Course is always a delight; you can go for a hike on the Bloodroot Mountain Trail. That right there is heaps of fun stuff already but it goes on, the Green Mountains has it all. After       a long day outdoors Mendon Mountainview Lodge is a brilliant place to spend a night or two, and Kings Pond is a site with many visitors from Rutland. Be careful coming to the Green Mountains, you might not ever want to return home again. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always explore close by Pleiad Lake; nearby you come across the Chittenden Brook Cross-Country Ski Trail which is a glorious hiking trail. Yeah, come here to Kings Pond for                  a nice time. Camping is available at Chittenden Brook Campground. Lakes are delightful; North Pond is a lake that's next to Kings Pond. From a precipitation point of view Kings Pond is a quite typical site; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. If you're here at Kings Pond, you could have a look at Bingo Brook, and get yourself into a kayak and hit White River. Gotta ski! Pico Mountain is a magnificent location to do that; if you came for an overnight stay Mountain Trails Camping Area is a perfect spot to camp. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Kings Pond, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's while Kings Pond night low temperatures throughout the winter are in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. There are some good whitewater spots on Middlebury River; going for a hike on the Chittenden Brook Trail is always a fine adventure.
