Kettle Pond is always a pleasure to visit. The Green Mountains scenery is always beautiful. High temperatures at Kettle Pond through the days of summer are in the 70's while nighttime lows are usually in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's, and all through the dark hours in the wintertime at Kettle Pond temperatures drop to the 0's. | | meet some folks from Barre, and Hollow Inn and Motel is a great site to get some rest. Kettle Pond is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Stillwater Campground is a wonderful local campground, and Osmore Pond is a nearby lake that you could pop by. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the Silver Ledge Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region. There's so much to do here at Kettle Pond that you need to camp here for a | |

while, New Discovery Campground is a wonderful place for that. Kettle Pond gets a common amount of annual rain; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. So many
cool things to do here at Kettle Pond, too great to be true. Take a hike on the Kettle Pond Trail; whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Joe's Brook River. Boulder Beach is close to Kettle
Pond and is a scenic beach to visit, and from Kettle Pond you get a great panorama of Hardwood Mountain. This lake is so wonderful. There are some good whitewater spots on Winooski River; a great nearby hotel is Barre-Days Inn
Barre/Montpelier. Life's too short to enjoy all the amusing things in the Green Mountains. Hiking along the Owls Head Trail is nice fun; if you get bored of Kettle Pond you could also stop at nearby Lake Groton.
