     Man, is there a lot of cool stuff to do near Jones Pond. Very pretty scenery and great skiing is what you get at Suicide Six, and going for a hike on the Kettle Pond Trail is always a great adventure. Jones Pond is a beautiful lake in the Green Mountains. A common amount of rain falls here at Jones Pond; the wettest month of the year is typically August, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month of the year is February.
This lake is so wonderful.
 
   Gotta ski! Twin Farms is a good location to do that, and Days Inn Barre Montpelier is a delightful location to get some rest. So many entertaining things in the Green Mountains, just inspiring. Lakes? Sure, Cutter Pond is in close proximity; you're sure to encounter some friendly people from Barre here. And that's not all the things to do here in the Green Mountains. Limehurst Pond is a great lake near Jones Pond; whitewater paddling is not for everyone but  
               if it's for you then, we recommend White River - First Branch.
This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Jones Pond has to offer, you can camp at Lazy Lions Campground, and close by you discover the Silver Ledge Trail which is a good hiking trail. If you need a place to stay Hollow Inn and Motel is a tremendous choice; get your heart beating on the wonderful whitewater of White River.
Jones Pond is a wonderful spot to visit for more than one day, Limehurst Lake is a wonderful spot to camp nearby, and there is a brilliant hiking trail nearby called the Bear Hill Trail. At Jones Pond through the warm months highs are in the 70's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are ordinarily in the 20's; overnight lows all through the winter for Jones Pond tend to be in the 0's.
