Jones Mill Pond is always a pleasure to visit. There is a glorious hiking trail near Jones Mill Pond called the Duval Trail; if you came for an overnight stay Smoke Rise Family Campground is a pleasant place to camp. This lake is one of the great places here in the Green Mountains. Man, is there loads of entertaining stuff to do right next door to Jones Mill Pond. Going for a hike on the Leicester Hollow Trail is always a nice adventure, and camping is available

| | at Country Village Campgrounds. Be careful coming to the Green Mountains, you might not ever want to return back home again. A brilliant close by hotel is Mountain Top Inn and Resort, and playing golf is lots of fun at Neshobe Golf Club. You'll meet a lot of folks from Rutland here, and don't miss out on a nice swamp; Smalley Swamp is right here at Jones Mill Pond. the Chandler Ridge Trail which is a splendid hiking trail, and in case you don’t mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Middlebury River. If only every place had this much outdoors exciting stuff,
what a great globe it would be. There's some flowing water close by, Jones Brook is a stream you can take a look at during your stay; Hawk Hill is stunning and can be observed from here. That right there is loads of enjoyable stuff
already but it goes on, the Green Mountains has it all. A day on the slopes of Killington is just what you need; not far from Jones Mill Pond you'll hit upon Spring Pond which is a wonderful lake. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes?
Sure, Sugar Hollow Pond is in the vicinity, and Otter Creek is a great whitewater spot nearby. After a long day outdoors Highlander Motel is a pleasant spot to spend a night or two, and the snow is good at Pico Mountain.
