If you are in Rutland county it's always a good idea to stop by Johnson Pond. You'll meet a lot of folks from Rutland here, and you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Pico Mountain since you're here. But wait, there's more entertaining stuff to do in the Green Mountains. Have a good hiking adventure along the Keewaydin Trail; it's a delightful idea to check out Sargent Brook. Yep, outdoors fun stuff to do are truly abundant here at Johnson

There's so much to do here at Johnson Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Night Eagle Wilderness is a good place for that, and gorgeous scenery and magnificent skiing is what you obtain at Killington. Johnson Pond gets a typical amount of yearly rainfall; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest of the months is February. all you thrill seekers; Johnson Pond is good enough to spend more than a day at, Iroquois Land Family Campground is a good local campground. All through the warm days of summer highs here at Johnson Pond reach the 80's while nighttime
lows are ordinarily in the 50's. Highs through the wintertime are generally in the 20's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Johnson Pond temperatures dip to the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors
Mountain Green Ski & Golf Resort is a wonderful place to spend a night or two; the summit of Comtois Hill can be made out from Johnson Pond. Johnson Pond is located in the Green Mountains. Killington Grand Resort Hotel is a great
place to get some rest, and you can run the rapids of Big Branch. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Juggernaut Trail, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Bucklin Trail.
