The beauty of Inman Pond attracts many people from all around. At Inman Pond during the warmest time of the year highs are in the 80's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's. All through the wintertime highs are typically in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Inman Pond. tremendous. Inman Pond is right by the Glen Lake Trail, and if you need a location to stay Ticonderoga - Super 8 Motel is a fine choice. Take a hike on the Bomoseen Hiking Loop, and why not spend some time golfing at a nearby
golf course like Prospect Bay Country Club. This lake is so wonderful. Have a fine hiking adventure along the Half Moon Pond Trail. Lakes are great; Howard Pond is a lake that's near Inman Pond. This lake is so wonderful. If you came
to camp Bomoseen State Park Campground is a good spot to do that; Inman Pond Dam has good water scenery. Interesting geology is available here; The Great Ledge is in the vicinity of Inman Pond, and a tour to Beaver Meadow invigorates
the spirit. Inman Pond gets a common amount of yearly rainfall; August is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest of the months is February. A forest in the vicinity of Inman Pond is Fair Haven Municipal Forest, and lots of folks from Rutland come here.

Country Village Campgrounds

Brandon is a well-known artist's village that is famous for several galleries shops and restaurants, and home to the well-know artist Warren Kimball. There are also many wonderful events held in the village including weekly farmers markets, and several festivals and parades throughout the year.
Country Village Campground has 41 spacious sites that can accommodate small tents all the way up to the largest of campers. The bath house is clean and spacious with hot showers, and it is located right in the middle of the campground for easy access to all sites. A trip to Country Village Campground wouldn’t be complete without a visit to nearby Branbury State Park; nearby you hit upon the Silver Lake Trail which is a tremendous hiking trail. Camping in Vermont is such a fun thing to do. All the nice local attractions in close proximity and the nice variety of outdoors recreation will certainly have you coming back persistently.

Rocky Pond
 | 18 miles away 4 PHOTOS Easy going trail from Mt Tabor to Rocky Pond, a 4 mile round trip, 1 1/2 to 2 hour hike. The hike is well worth seeing this breath taking pond. Very secluded & peaceful with tent sites and one or two shelters. Over night stays are 5.00 per person, per night. If you love 'roughing it' camping, this is a great place to go.
