     Good hiking is available along the Bomoseen Hiking Loop, and Beaver Meadow is a picturesque place any time of year. At Inman Pond all through the warmest time of the year highs are in the 80's. Summer nighttime lows sink down to the 50's. High temperatures all through the wintertime are normally in the 20's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Inman Pond fall into the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. A lake nearby is Howard Pond, and  
   the vista of beautiful Cobble Knoll is nice. This lake is so wonderful. You could also explore Old Marsh Pond while you're here at Inman Pond; it's nearby, and don't leave Inman Pond without first checking out The Great Ledge.
Inman Pond is a good location of typical rain; most of the rain falls through August, and the driest of the months is February. Inman Pond is good enough to spend more than a day at, Bomoseen State Park Campground is a good local
 
               campground, and dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Motel Ticonderoga.
There are some perfect whitewater spots on Poultney River; it's a glorious idea to check out Sucker Creek. All the outdoors fun things in close proximity to Inman Pond will keep you coming back repeatedly. Camping at Half Moon State Park Campground is always a great experience, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Inman Pond; Half Moon Pond Trail is a glorious local trail. You can take a little spree to Inman Pond Dam if you're here at Inman Pond, and some glorious nature is available in Fair Haven Municipal Forest.
Having a glorious time at Inman Pond is painless. While you're here at Inman Pond you will meet lots of folks from close by Rutland; Best Western Ticonderoga Inn & Suites is a tremendous location to get some rest. For you golfers we recommend nearby Prospect Bay Country Club, and don't leave Inman Pond without first going for a hike along the Glen Lake Trail.

At this campground you will always have a delightful time. Getting to Neshobe River from Country Village Campground is simple, and Middlebury River has a great whitewater paddling spot nearby.

Outdoor recreation is bountiful, some of the enjoyable stuff you can do is swimming, playing golf at Neshobe Golf Club, whitewater paddling, hiking, and fishing, so you won’t run out of things to do.

The folks who look after the campground and all the nice pastime activities will make you feel at home. Quite a lot of cool stuff to do next to Country Village Campground, and it's one of those places where everything is close.

If only every location had this much outdoor entertaining stuff, what a great planet it would be. A tremendous place like Half Moon Pond State Park is near Country Village Campground and is too wonderful to leave out, and going for a hike on the Falls of Lana Trail is always a perfect adventure. Easy going trail from Mt Tabor to Rocky Pond, a 4 mile round trip, 1 1/2 to 2 hour hike. The hike is well worth seeing this breath taking pond. Very secluded & peaceful with tent sites and one or two shelters. Over night stays are 5.00 per person, per night. If you love 'roughing it' camping, this is a great place to go.
