Vermont has many beautiful lakes and Huff Pond is one of them. Otter Creek is a great whitewater spot in the vicinity of Huff Pond, and since you're here you can take a hike along the Half Moon Pond Trail. Summertime highs at Huff Pond mostly tend to be in the 80's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's. Highs throughout the winter are typically in the 20's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Huff Pond temperatures dip to the 0's.

month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and February is when it's the driest.
This lake is so wonderful. Lots of folks from Rutland come to Huff Pond, and in the event that you don't mind getting soaked, you can
always go whitewater paddling on Poultney River. On a great day at Huff Pond you can take a hike along the Glen Lake Trail, and a great nearby hotel is Courtyard By Marriott Middlebury. Lake Hortonia is a nearby lake that you could
go to, and The Middlebury Inn is a glorious site to get some rest.
This lake is so wonderful. The peak of Signal Hill can be spotted from Huff Pond; you can have a wonderful hiking adventure along the Daniel Coffey Memorial Trial.
