Summertime highs at Huff Pond ordinarily tend to be in the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Huff Pond are in the 0's. This is a popular spot for people from Rutland; there's always Burr Pond Dam to have a look at near Huff Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Get drenched paddling on Otter Creek, and Burr Pond is a       nearby lake that you could pop by. At Huff Pond you can distinguish Signal Hill. If you came for an overnight stay Half Moon State Park Campground is a perfect location to camp, and on a brilliant day you can take a hike along the Daniel Coffey Memorial Trial. The annual precipitation here at Huff Pond is about average; August is when you get the most rain here while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
