Why not take a refreshing hike along the Glen Lake Trail, and there are some great whitewater spots on Otter Creek. Huff Pond gets a common amount of yearly rain; through August this area sees the most rain; February on the other hand is the driest. Birdcage Bed & Breakfast is a great place to get some rest; since you're here and you like golf, you can check out Neshobe Golf Club.       This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Poultney River; there's nice hiking along the Daniel Coffey Memorial Trial. If you fancy the outdoors, you'll fancy Huff Pond. After a long day outdoors Edgewater Motel is a fine place to spend a night or two, and the view of beautiful Signal Hill is good. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Huff Pond; Half Moon Pond Trail is a glorious local trail; this                  is a popular place for folks from Rutland. Not far from Huff Pond you acquire some delightful water scenery at Burr Pond Dam, and you can stay the night at Big D Campground.
