Vermont has many beautiful lakes and Lake Hortonia is one of them. In the event that you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Poultney River, and camping at Half Moon State Park Campground is always a good experience. At Lake Hortonia Dam near Lake Hortonia there are some exciting things to see, and a good place to camp here at Lake Hortonia is Big D Campground. This lake is so wonderful. commonly in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 50's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 20's, and nighttime lows in the 0's for Lake Hortonia. This lake is so wonderful. There
are plenty of people from Rutland here at Lake Hortonia; you can have a great hiking adventure along the Half Moon Pond Trail. Lake Hortonia in fact is in the middle of a picturesque outdoors paradise. While you're here at Lake Hortonia
you can take a hike along the Glen Lake Trail, and if you want to take a look at some out of the ordinary stuff, take a look at Barber Ledge. A common amount of rain falls here at Lake Hortonia; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture.
