Beautiful Horn of the Moon Pond has much to offer visitors. The Inn at Montpelier is a brilliant place to get some rest. All the water falling down from the sky makes Horn of the Moon Pond a wet location; August is when you get the most rain here while February is frequently the driest month. All the outdoors cool stuff in the Green Mountains will keep you coming back over and over. Here at Horn of the Moon Pond you can see Long Meadow Hill. Lakes? Sure, Wrightsville

| | Reservoir is in the vicinity. Having a glorious time at Horn of the Moon Pond is painless. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always visit nearby Nelson Pond; Horn of the Moon Pond is right by the Kettle Pond Trail. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Green Mountains. right next door to Horn of the Moon Pond, and dry warm beds await you at CAPITAL INN. This lake is so wonderful. This is a popular place for people from Barre, and the snow is brilliant at Stowe. Hiking along the Hedgehop Hill
Loop Trail is pleasant fun, and don't forget to take a great little trip to Martins Brook. This lake is so wonderful. A perfect location for whitewater paddling near Horn of the Moon Pond is Minister Brook, and Horn of the Moon Pond
is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Lazy Lions Campground is a fine local campground. Throughout the long summer days, highs generally are in the 60's at Horn of the Moon Pond, and all through the night it cools down to
the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 10's, and overnight lows at Horn of the Moon Pond during the wintertime commonly descend into the 0's. This lake is located in the wonderful Green Mountains.
