Vermont has many beautiful lakes and Horn of the Moon Pond is one of them. The Kettle Pond Trail offers hiking at its best. During the summer highs here at Horn of the Moon Pond reach the 60's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 50's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 10's, and night lows in the 0's for Horn of the Moon Pond. trail. This place, Horn of the Moon Pond, it truly has so much outdoors exciting stuff. Lots of folks from Barre come to Horn of the Moon Pond, and the skiing at Stowe is good.
Yeah, come up here to the Green Mountains for a good
time. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Minister Brook, and you can stay the night at Lazy Lions Campground. Horn of the Moon Pond is a beautiful lake in the Green Mountains. Dry warm beds await you at Hilltop Inn, and Green Valley
Campground is a nice campground here.
Don't forget to take a fine little spree to Martins Brook, naturally you could also go to Chapels Pond if you're here; it's not far at all. This lake is so wonderful. There are some delightful whitewater spots on Winooski River; why not take a refreshing hike along the Hedgehop Hill Loop Trail.
