Stowe. Camping is available at Lazy Lions Campground. This lake is so wonderful. Float down the rapids of Minister Brook in a kayak, and a tremendous place to camp here at Horn of the Moon Pond is Green Valley Campground. This
lake is so wonderful. Horn of the Moon Pond is not the only location nearby, Nelson Pond is a nearby lake, and the Kettle Pond Trail is a glorious hiking trail nearby. For the period of the summer here at Horn of the Moon Pond, high
temperatures mostly get into the 60's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's. Throughout the wintertime this place gets highs in the 10's; during the dark hours in the winter at Horn of the Moon Pond temperatures sink to
the 0's. Horn of the Moon Pond is a wet location that gets a great deal of rainfall; August is the wettest month with most rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month. Horn of the Moon Pond is a place with many visitors from Barre, and needless to say Martins Brook flows through this vicinity.
