     Just can't get enough of Holdens Pond. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Twin Farms; the Barnard Trail is a great hiking trail close by. Holdens Pond is located in the Green Mountains. The amount of rainfall that falls at Holdens Pond is close to the national average; the month with most of the rain is August; the driest month is February.
This lake is so wonderful. Twin Ponds is a perfect lake right next door to Holdens Pond, and
 
   if you're interested in hydro structures, you can stop by Patterson and Holden Dam. If you come at the right time of year, White River - First Branch offers some wonderful whitewater, and after a long day outdoors Hollow Inn and Motel is a splendid place to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Comfort Inn & Suites at Maplewood is a pleasant spot to get some rest, and Suicide Six has perfect slopes and a friendly staff.

               come to Holdens Pond. Lakes? Sure, Sunset Lake is around here. This place, the Green Mountains, has so much outdoors entertaining things. Getting to Sunset Brook from Holdens Pond is painless, and on a splendid day you can take a hike along the Bear Hill Trail. For the duration of the months of summer highs here at Holdens Pond get into the 70's, and all through the night it cools down to the 50's. During the winter highs are frequently in the 20's; all through the dark hours in the winter at Holdens Pond temperatures plunge to the 0's.
If you fancy the outdoors you'll fancy it here in the Green Mountains. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Holdens Pond has to offer, you can camp at Lake Champagne Campground, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend White River. Holdens Pond is a fine place to visit for more than one day, Limehurst Lake is a fine place to camp nearby.
