    In Vermont there are many beautiful lakes, Holdens Pond is one of them. Summertime highs at Holdens Pond regularly tend to be in the 70's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Holdens Pond are in the 0's. White River is a fine whitewater spot close to Holdens Pond, and Limehurst Lake is a nice campground nearby. There are other places here than Holdens  
   Pond, for example Sunset Lake; a great nearby hotel is Comfort Inn At Maplewood.
This location is so good, just check out all the cool stuff to do near Holdens Pond. After a long day outdoors Hollow Inn and Motel is a great site to spend a night or two, and you can run the rapids of White River - First Branch. This lake is so wonderful. Holdens Pond is a nice place to visit for more than one day, Lake Champagne Campground is a nice place to camp nearby, and
 
               the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Twin Farms. Now, you may imagine that's loads but there's even more fun stuff to do here in the Green Mountains. Don't leave Holdens Pond without first going for a hike along the Bear Hill Trail, and it's a great idea to go to Sunset Brook.
Holdens Pond is a good place of normal rainfall; the month with most of the rain is August while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. And if that's not enough there's a heap more exciting stuff to do in the Green Mountains. An interesting thing to pop by in close proximity to Holdens Pond is Patterson and Holden Dam; there are plenty of people from Barre here. The snow is good at Suicide Six.
This lake is one of the great places here in the Green Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are such serene places, why not go to Twin Ponds right next door to Holdens Pond, and there's magnificent hiking along the Barnard Trail.
