If the weather is brilliant here at High Pond, you can go for a hike along the Bomoseen Hiking Loop, and for you golfers we recommend close by Prospect Bay Country Club. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Big D Campground
since you're here at High Pond, and Poultney River has a glorious whitewater paddling spot nearby. Man, is there a heap of enjoyable things to do in the vicinity of High Pond. Take a side tour to Giddings Brook, and people from Rutland
love to come here. This lake is so wonderful. Swamps like Beaver Meadow are fun to pop by, and why not visit Austin Pond Dam if you're here. What would a place like High Pond be without attention-grabbing nearby highlights like
Barber Ledge; after a long day outdoors Courtyard By Marriott Middlebury is a good place to spend a night or two. Hiking along the Daniel Coffey Memorial Trial is good fun; if you need a site to stay The Middlebury Inn is a good choice.
