     Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Higgins Pond while overnight lows are frequently in the 50's. During the winter highs are in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Higgins Pond. You could also pop by Middlebury Water Supply if you're here at Higgins Pond; it's close by, and after a long day outdoors The Middlebury Inn is a perfect site to spend a night or two. That right there is a load of entertaining things already but it goes on, the  
   Green Mountains has it all. If you came for an overnight stay Green Mountain Family Campground is a brilliant location to camp; great skiing awaits you at Sugarbush.
This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Maple Hill Campsites, and you need to pop by Bristol Rock since you're here. Yeah, come here to Higgins Pond for a magnificent time. South Mountain can be made out from Higgins Pond, and paddling on New Haven River is so much fun. Skiing at
 
               Mad River Glen is one of those things you just have to do.
This lake is located in the wonderful Green Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Higgins Pond is right by the Abbey Pond Trail, and close by you'll locate a wooded area called Middleblury Municipal Forest. Nearby lakes? Sure, North Pond is near Higgins Pond, and the Beaver Meadow Trail offers hiking at its best.
Higgins Pond gets a normal amount of yearly precipitation; all through the month of August you get the most rain around here, and the driest month of the year is February. You'll in fact wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining things in the Green Mountains. Hiking along the Oak Ridge Trail is great fun, and a good nearby hotel is Courtyard Middlebury.
