This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Barrewood Campground is always a fine experience, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Heart Pond; Osmore Pond Hiking Loop is a pleasant local trail. Yeah, come up here to the Green Mountains for a delightful time. Whitewater paddling is great on Barton River; McCleary Brook is near Heart Pond and is always a joy to go to. Lamoille River - Wild Branch has a wonderful whitewater paddling       spot nearby, and delightful hiking is available along the Bayley Hazen Military Road Trail. The Green Mountains scenery is always beautiful. Heart Pond sees pretty high levels of rainfall; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain while February is typically the driest month. Be careful coming to the Green Mountains, you might not ever wanna return back home again. If you get bored of Heart Pond, you could also take a look at close by Great                  Hosmer Pond; if the weather is gorgeous, you acquire a nice vista of Holiday Hill from Heart Pond.
