Haystack Pond is always a pleasure to visit. While you're here at Haystack Pond you can take a hike along the Deerfield Trail, and there are some perfect whitewater spots on Deerfield River - East Branch. If you come at the right time of year, Deerfield River offers some good whitewater, and if you came for an overnight stay Moss Hollow Campground is a splendid spot to camp. This lake is so wonderful.
