What a nice lake Hawkins Pond is. Hawkins Pond is a place with many visitors from Barre. This lake is so wonderful. Curtis Pond Dam is scenic and it's next to Hawkins Pond, and on a perfect day you can take a hike along the Owls Head Trail. Life's too short to enjoy all the amusing things in the Green Mountains. Mountain View Campground is a good campground nearby, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Kettle Pond Trail.

| | from Hawkins Pond is charming. Lakes are brilliant; Curtis Pond is a lake that's in the neighborhood of Hawkins Pond. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the exciting things at Hawkins Pond. Green Valley Campground is a pleasant local campground; if you need a site to stay CAPITAL INN is a good choice. A lot of rain falls at Hawkins Pond; the month with most of the rain is August, and February is the month with the least moisture.

Mountains scenery is always beautiful. The skiing at Stowe is good; not far from Hawkins Pond you'll hit upon Cranberry Meadow Pond which is a wonderful lake. All year is a delightful time in the Green Mountains if you go for the
outdoors. There is a brilliant hiking trail in close proximity to Hawkins Pond called the Silver Ledge Trail, and if you come at the right time of year, Minister Brook offers some brilliant whitewater.
This lake is so wonderful.
After a long day outdoors The Inn at Montpelier is a tremendous place to spend a night or two, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Winooski River. For the duration of the summer months here at Hawkins Pond, high temperatures typically
reach the 60's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 10's, and nighttime lows at Hawkins Pond all through the winter typically plunge into the 0's.
