If the weather is wonderful here at Harvey Lake, you can go for a hike along the Groton State Forest Nature Trail, and Harveys Lake Dam is a beautiful site. After a long day outdoors Fairbanks Inn is a good location to spend a night or two, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Wells River. This lake is so wonderful. McLam Pond is a glorious lake in the vicinity       of Harvey Lake; if you like skiing, you're in luck; Lyndon Outing Club is pretty near. That right there is heaps already, but it goes on; Harvey Lake has it all. For the period of the summertime here at Harvey Lake, high temperatures ordinarily get into the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 50's. Highs through the winter are generally in the 20's, and overnight lows in the 0's for Harvey Lake. Having a great time in the Green Mountains                  is easy. A wonderful close by hotel is Comfort Inn & Suites; you can have a magnificent hiking adventure along the Peacham Bog Trail. And that's not all you can do here at Harvey Lake. Going for a hike along the Coldwater Brook Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area, and if you came for an overnight stay Sugar Ridge RV Village & Camp is a good place to camp. But wait, there's more exciting things to do in the Green Mountains. Lakes? Sure, Jewett Pond is in the neighborhood, and Burke Mountain is a good local ski area. The sight of gorgeous Harvey Mountain near Harvey Lake is magnificent, and there's some flowing water close by, Jewett Brook is a stream you can check out while you're here. Harvey Lake gets a common amount of precipitation; August is the wettest month with most rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful.
