     The Green Mountains scenery is always beautiful. Harry Pond is a rather wet place mostly with a large amount of precipitation; August is the month that gets the most rain; the driest month is February. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a location to stay Days Inn Barre Montpelier is a nice choice, and the sight of Foster Hill is delightful.

   is available along the Owls Head Trail. At Harry Pond through the summertime months highs are in the 60's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 10's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Harry Pond. Whitewater paddling is perfect on Lamoille River - Wild Branch, and obviously, this is a perfect area for folks who like lakes, Leech Pond is a lake in close proximity.
 
               Now, you may imagine that's a heap but there's even more exciting things to do here in the Green Mountains. A golf course next to Harry Pond is Woodbury Golf Course, and most likely you're looking for close by lakes? Sure, King Ponds is just a very short distance away. And if that's not enough there's a load more amusing things to do in the Green Mountains. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Harry Pond has to offer, you can camp at Spooners Trailer Park and Campground; don't leave Harry Pond without first going for a hike along the Kettle Pond Trail. Here at Harry Pond there are plenty of people from Barre, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Harry Pond; Osmore Pond Hiking Loop is a delightful local trail.
Harry Pond really is in the middle of a charming outdoors paradise. A tour to Blake Falls will fill your spirit with great feelings. What a site this is for outdoors folks. In the event that you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Winooski River. There's so much to do here at Harry Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Onion River Campground is a tremendous site for that. Mirror Lake Dam has perfect water scenery and it's right next door to Harry Pond, and a wonderful nearby hotel is Hollow Inn and Motel.
