     Hardwick Lake is always a pleasure to visit. This lake is so wonderful. If you get bored of Hardwick Lake, you could also stop by close by Mackville Pond; if the weather is great, you can go for a hike along the Owls Head Trail. Hardwick Lake is a beautiful lake in the Green Mountains. For the period of the days of summer here at Hardwick Lake, high temperatures usually reach the 80's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's. For the duration of  
   the wintertime the highs are ordinarily in the 20's, and night lows at Hardwick Lake throughout the winter frequently fall into the 0's.
Going for a hike along the Osmore Pond Hiking Loop will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area, and you can stay the night at Idle Hours Campground. There's whitewater on Lamoille River - Wild Branch for all you adrenaline junkies, and Hardwick Lake is a place with many visitors from Barre. Hardwick Lake is a wet
 
               location that gets a large amount of rainfall; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest of the months is February.
If you go for the outdoors you'll go for it here in the Green Mountains. A nice close by hotel is Barre-Days Inn Barre/Montpelier. There's so much to do here at Hardwick Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Larry and Sons Campground is a glorious location for that. Yep, outdoors cool things to do are beyond doubt plentiful here at Hardwick Lake. Hardwick Lake Dam has fine water scenery and it's close to Hardwick Lake, and not far from here you can enjoy the trees of Hardwick Union Municipal Forest. Hiking along the Kettle Pond Trail is delightful fun.
You'll truly wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining stuff in the Green Mountains. Mackville Pond is a nearby lake that you could visit, and if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Alder Brook. This lake is so wonderful. Get your heart beating on the great whitewater of Winooski River, and after a long day outdoors The Inn at Montpelier is a brilliant site to spend a night or two.

Hmm? Jay Peak seems like it has two peaks, shouldn't it be called Jay Peaks? But other than the confusing name I have no complaints. Lots of good runs....
