Do stop by Hapgood Pond while you're in this part of Vermont. This lake is one of the great places here in the Green Mountains. Soar down the rapids of West River in a kayak, and a gorgeous lake like Mud Pond is a delightful place to go to. All the outdoors amusing things in the Green Mountains will keep you coming back persistently. Paddling on Winhall River is so much fun, and at Hapgood Pond you always meet someone from Rutland. This lake is so wonderful.

| | The snow is glorious at Stratton, and after a long day outdoors Mt Snow Grand Summit Resort is a great location to spend a night or two. Yeah, come up here to the Green Mountains for a splendid time. Go for a hike on the Little Michigan Trail, and Farnum Brook is in the vicinity of Hapgood Pond and is always a joy to go to. is always a good adventure, and camping is available at Campground A. Farnum Dam is not far at all from Hapgood Pond; Lyons Pond is a splendid lake close by. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Hapgood Pond without first going
for a hike along the Utley Brook Trail, and a glorious nearby hotel is Inns at the Equinox. All the water falling down from the sky makes Hapgood Pond a wet place; most of the rain falls throughout August, and the driest month is
February. At Hapgood Pond during the days of summer highs are in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 50's. Highs throughout the winter are usually in the 30's, and after the sun is down during the
winter temperatures at Hapgood Pond plunge into the 0's. Why not camp at Maryville Campground and Gift Shop if you're here at Hapgood Pond; why not head up to Bromley and strap some skis to your feet. Having a brilliant time at Hapgood Pond is painless.
