    If you are in this part of Vermont make sure to pay a visit to Hancock Pond. This lake is located in the wonderful Green Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always check out close by Walker Pond; do take a hike on the Shore Trail. For the period of the summertime months highs here at Hancock Pond get into the 70's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are usually  
   in the 20's, and overnight lows throughout the wintertime for Hancock Pond tend to be in the 0's.
This lake is so wonderful. This is a tremendous vicinity for people who like lakes. Sukes Pond is a lake around here, and there's some flowing water nearby, McKinley Brook is a stream you can have a look at while here. But wait, there's more entertaining stuff to do in the Green Mountains. Clyde River is a great whitewater spot in close proximity to Hancock
 
               Pond; Burke Mountain has glorious slopes and a friendly staff. Hancock Pond is a good site of typical precipitation; the wettest month of the year is regularly August, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month of the year is February.
And if that's not enough, there's plenty more to do next to Hancock Pond. A nice nearby hotel is Fairbanks Inn; you can hit the slopes at Lyndon Outing Club in the neighborhood. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Green Mountains. You get a great view of Haystack Hill from Hancock Pond. There's so much to do here at Hancock Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Lakeside Camping Area is a good place for that. If you need a site to stay Holiday Motel and Annex is a glorious choice, and you can have a good hiking adventure along the Red Pine Trail.
You'll need more than a day to discover everything Hancock Pond has to offer, you can camp at Burke Mountain Campgrounds. While you're here at Hancock Pond you can take a hike along the Loggers Loop Trail, and in the event that you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Nulhegan River.
