If you came for an overnight stay Lakeside Camping Area is a glorious place to camp, and at Halfway Pond you can make out The Hurricane. All through the summertime months highs here at Halfway Pond reach the 70's. All through the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 50's. Near Halfway Pond you hit upon the Number Six Road which is a magnificent hiking trail, and float down the rapids of Clyde River in a kayak. Don't stop me now, cause I'm havin' a brilliant time here at Halfway Pond. There is a delightful hiking trail in close proximity to Halfway Pond called the Gore Trail; get yourself into a kayak and hit Nulhegan River. | |

Lakes are such peaceful places, why not stop at Turtle Pond near Halfway Pond, and if you need a place to stay Super 8 Motel - Derby/Newport Area is a great choice. This lake is so wonderful. A pretty lake like Line Pond next to Halfway
Pond is a magnificent place to pop by, and Char- BO Campground is a fine campground nearby. This lake is so wonderful. On a great day at Halfway Pond you can take a hike along the Mount Gore Trail; everybody nearby loves skiing
at Lyndon Outing Club. Swamps don’t sound that great but The Loon Hole close to Halfway Pond is pretty great; Burke Mountain is a pleasant local ski area.
