In Vermont there are many beautiful lakes, Grout Pond is one of them. Skiing at Mount Snow is one of those things you just should do, and Deerfield River has a great whitewater paddling spot close by. During the warm months, highs usually are in the 80's at Grout Pond while nighttime lows are ordinarily in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's; throughout the dark hours in the wintertime at Grout Pond temperatures fall to the 0's. This lake

Very delightful scenery and wonderful skiing is what you get at Stratton, and Grout Pond is a nice place to visit for more than one day, Red Mill Brook Campground is a nice place to camp nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the Branch Pond Trail is tremendous fun, and if you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Deerfield River - East Branch. not enough there's plenty more enjoyable things to do in the Green Mountains. Daniel Webster Historical Monument is an out of the ordinary place to visit while at Grout Pond; don't forget to take a magnificent little trip to Black
Brook. And if you're still looking for more outdoors amusing stuff just keep reading. Lakes are brilliant; Bourn Pond is a lake that's right next door to Grout Pond. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Grout Pond
has to offer, you can camp at Maryville Campground and Gift Shop. Grout Pond sees pretty high levels of rain; all through August this area sees the most rain; the driest month of the year is February. And if that's not enough,
there's loads more to do in close proximity to Grout Pond. Dry warm beds await you at Inns at the Equinox, and the Cooridor 7 offers hiking at its best. Grout Pond is right by the Deerfield Trail, and Grout Pond is a location with
many visitors from Bennington. Now, you may feel that's lots but there's even more exciting stuff to do here in the Green Mountains. This is a tremendous region for people who like lakes. Somerset Reservoir is a lake in the vicinity, and Mt Snow Grand Summit Resort is a good location to get some rest.
