Vermont has many beautiful lakes and Lake Groton is one of them. This lake is one of the great places here in the Green Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. A delightful place for whitewater paddling in the vicinity of Lake Groton is Joe's Brook River; if you've had enough of Lake Groton, Beaver Pond is nearby. If only every place had this much outdoors amusing things, what a great globe it would be. If you need a spot to stay Hollow Inn and Motel is a great

Lake Groton gets a normal amount of annual rain; throughout the month of August you get the most rain around here while February is usually the driest month. And that's not all you can do here in the Green Mountains. Nearby lakes? Sure, Groton Pond is near Lake Groton, and you can go for a hike on the Groton State Forest Nature Trail. Dry warm beds await you at Barre-Days Inn Barre/Montpelier, and you must unquestionably visit Silver Ledge during your | |

Just can't get enough of the Green Mountains. Why not stop at Groton Pond Dam while you're here, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Lake Groton; Coldwater Brook Trail is a magnificent local trail. This lake is so
wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Stillwater Campground is a good place to camp, and great hiking is available along the Hosmer Brook Trail. Wells River is a delightful whitewater spot next to Lake Groton, and the top of
Deer Mountain is easily observed from Lake Groton.
Man, is there loads of entertaining stuff to do in the vicinity of Lake Groton. You don't must go far from Lake Groton to enjoy Groton State Forest, and you can spend the day
on the beach at Boulder Beach. Big Deer Campground is a good local campground, and as expected Beaver Brook is a wonderful stream that is worth visiting. At Lake Groton during the warmest time of the year highs are in the 70's. Through
the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 50's. Throughout the wintertime the highs are frequently in the 20's with temperatures at Lake Groton dipping down into the 0's all through winter nights.
