a stunning lake called Groton Pond. This lake is so wonderful. At Groton Pond Dam right next door to Lake Groton there are some exciting things to see, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Joe's Brook River. This lake is so wonderful.
Don't forget to take a great little spree to Beaver Brook, and if you come at the right time of year, Wells River offers some wonderful whitewater. Hiking along the Groton State Forest Nature Trail is glorious fun, and a beautiful
lake like Beaver Pond is a great spot to stop by. And that's not all you can do here in the Green Mountains. Have a great hiking adventure along the Hosmer Brook Trail. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Lake Groton
has to offer, you can camp at Big Deer Campground. On a gorgeous day you obtain a vista of Deer Mountain from Lake Groton, and if you need a site to stay Hollow Inn and Motel is a good choice.
