dark hours in the winter at Groton Pond temperatures descend to the 0's. A common amount of rainfall falls here at Groton Pond; August is when you get the most rain here; February is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful.
If you need a place to stay Barre-Days Inn Barre/Montpelier is a delightful choice, and if you're looking for a beach nearby we recommend Boulder Beach. Whitewater paddling is good on Joe's Brook River; Ricker Pond is a brilliant
lake close by. All year is a brilliant time in the Green Mountains if you fancy the outdoors. You can see Jerry Lund Mountain from Groton Pond; Groton Pond is right by the Hosmer Brook Trail. An interesting thing to visit close to Groton Pond is Groton Pond Dam. This lake is located in the wonderful Green Mountains.
