Pond without first going for a hike along the Juggernaut Trail; you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Killington if you're here. This lake is so wonderful. Nearby lakes? Sure, Amherst Lake is in the vicinity of Grass
Pond, and you're sure to bump into some great folks from Rutland here. At Grass Pond during the warm days of summer highs are in the 80's while nighttime lows are commonly in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's while
the cold winter nights at Grass Pond are in the 10's. You're most likely keen on lakes, Amherst Lake is one of those close by, and Mill River has a nice whitewater paddling spot nearby.
