    Why not stop by Grass Pond if you're passing through these parts. This place, Grass Pond, it truly has so much outdoors enjoyable stuff. Camping is available at Plymouth Village Campground, and why not camp at Coolidge State Park while you're here at Grass Pond. All the outdoors entertaining things in the Green Mountains will keep you coming back time and again. You don’t have to go far from Grass Pond to make out the water at Black Pond Dam, and the view  
   of pretty Morgan Peak is great. Grass Pond is one of the lakes here in the Green Mountains.
This lake is so wonderful. The Bucklin Trail offers hiking at its best; some nearby water includes Great Roaring Brook. A tremendous spot to explore in the vicinity of Grass Pond is Plymouth Notch, and you can never get enough of the good skiing at Okemo. Yeah, come here to Grass Pond for a good time. Dry warm beds await you at Inn Of The Six Mountains; there's great
 
               hiking along the Barnard Trail.
Grass Pond commonly gets a large amount of precipitation; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Green Mountains. If you need a spot to stay Killington Grand Resort Hotel is a great choice, and paddling on White River is so much fun. Yeah, come up here to the Green Mountains for a splendid time.
Don't leave Grass Pond without first going for a hike along the Juggernaut Trail; you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Killington if you're here. This lake is so wonderful. Nearby lakes? Sure, Amherst Lake is in the vicinity of Grass Pond, and you're sure to bump into some great folks from Rutland here. At Grass Pond during the warm days of summer highs are in the 80's while nighttime lows are commonly in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's while the cold winter nights at Grass Pond are in the 10's.
You're most likely keen on lakes, Amherst Lake is one of those close by, and Mill River has a nice whitewater paddling spot nearby.
