    Goslant Pond is a lake worth visiting. An average amount of precipitation falls at Goslant Pond; through August this area sees the most rain, and the driest month of the year is February. And if that's not sufficient there's a lot more amusing things to do in the Green Mountains. There's so much to do here at Goslant Pond that you need to camp here for a while, New Discovery Campground is a perfect location for that; why not take a refreshing hike along the  
   Owls Head Trail. If you came to camp Stillwater Campground is a perfect location to do that, and nothing beats kicking back at Boulder Beach.
Goslant Pond is located in the Green Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Goslant Pond is a place with many visitors from Barre, and a splendid nearby hotel is Hollow Inn and Motel. Now, you may believe that's a load but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here in the Green Mountains. Near Goslant Pond you stumble
 
               on a golf course called Woodbury Golf Course, and soar down the rapids of Joe's Brook River in a kayak.
If you need a spot to stay Barre-Days Inn Barre/Montpelier is a tremendous choice. All the outdoors cool things next to Goslant Pond will keep you coming back repeatedly. Goslant Pond is right by the Kettle Pond Trail, and the top of Blake Hill is easily seen from Goslant Pond. Summertime at Goslant Pond comes with high temperatures in the 70's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's. Daytime highs all through the wintertime are in the 20's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Goslant Pond temperatures plunge to the 0's.
Take a hike on the Osmore Pond Hiking Loop, and Goslant Pond is not the only place nearby, Osmore Pond is a nearby lake. This lake is so wonderful. If you get bored of Goslant Pond, you could also stop at close by Kettle Pond, and paddling on Winooski River is so much fun.

We have been campers on Ticklenaked Pond for 30 plus years and love it's pristine water and oh yes....the loons. We have now been seasonal campers for 8 years and plan on many more. This is a wonderful family campground with much to enjoy such as a fishing derby for the kids, pot luck dinners, karaoke, live bands at least a couple of times during the season, paddle boats to rent, swimming, boating, hot showers and many, many, wonderful folks.
The proprietors, Harry and Sandy Cushing are great hosts. Come join us for a night, a weekend or for the season.
