Go to Goose Pond if you want to go to a nice lake. Goose Pond is a great spot to visit for more than one day, Gold Brook Campground is a great spot to camp nearby, and golf can be played at West Bolton Golf Club. Hiking along the Dalley Loop Trail is perfect fun, and Bolton Valley is a delightful local ski area. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Goose Pond. Summer overnight lows dip down to the 50's. High temperatures through the winter

And if that's not enough there's a lot more fun things to do in the Green Mountains. You'll meet a lot of folks from Barre here, and everybody close by loves skiing at Stowe. This is no spot for people who don’t like to have fun. There's whitewater on Little River for all you adrenaline people, and a nice sight of stunning Bolton Mountain is available. for a hike along the Stevenson Brook Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area, and there are some delightful whitewater spots on Ridley Brook.
Goose Pond gets a common amount of annual precipitation; the wettest
month of the year is ordinarily August, that's the one that rains the most, and February is when it's the driest. Now, you may imagine that's heaps but there's even more entertaining things to do here in the Green Mountains. Take
a hike on the Sawmill Loop Trail, and if you need a place to stay Trapp Family Lodge is a good choice.
This lake is so wonderful. Duxbury Campground is a pleasant campground nearby, and a wonderful close by hotel is Best Western Waterbury-Stowe. This lake is located in the wonderful Green Mountains.
