Glen Lake Dam is a site that is near Glen Lake, and you'll almost certainly meet some people from Rutland here. This lake is so wonderful. An afternoon playing golf at Prospect Bay Country Club is always a bliss; Best Western Ticonderoga Inn & Suites is a great place to get some rest. Glen Lake gets a normal amount of precipitation; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain; the driest of the       months is February. This lake is so wonderful. Moscow Pond is a perfect lake in the neighborhood of Glen Lake; there's whitewater on Poultney River for all you adrenaline kick people. Dry warm beds await you at Ticonderoga - Super 8 Motel, and there are other sites here than Glen Lake, for example Wheeler Pond. Man, is there a load of amusing things to do close to Glen Lake. Camping at Bomoseen State Park Campground is always a tremendous experience. At                  Glen Lake during the summer months highs are in the 80's. Summer night lows sink down to the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's while the cold winter nights at Glen Lake are in the 0's. If the weather is pleasant here at Glen Lake, you can go for a hike along the Glen Lake Trail, and there are swamps here too, Beaver Meadow is in the neighborhood. Camping is available at Half Moon State Park Campground, and Cedar Mountain is a peak you can distinguish from Glen Lake. Some perfect nature is available in Fair Haven Municipal Forest, and the Bomoseen Hiking Loop is a wonderful hiking trail nearby. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this place.
