A visit to Gilmore Pond is always a good idea. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the Abbey Pond Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region, and not far from Gilmore Pond you'll discover North Pond which is a delightful lake. A common amount of precipitation falls here at Gilmore Pond; most of the rain falls throughout August; February meanwhile is the driest month. High temperatures at Gilmore Pond all through the warm days

Highs all through the wintertime are commonly in the 20's while Gilmore Pond nighttime low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. a lot but there's even more fun stuff to do here at Gilmore Pond. If you came to camp Maple Hill Campsites is a tremendous spot to do that, and hiking along the Beaver Meadow Trail is wonderful fun. Isham Brook is a stream that you
may come across during your stay, and if you need a spot to stay The Middlebury Inn is a tremendous choice. While you're here at Gilmore Pond you can take a hike along the Battell Trail, and stunning scenery and tremendous skiing
is what you get at Sugarbush. The Green Mountains scenery is always beautiful. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend New Haven River. So many entertaining things to do here in the Green
Mountains, too glorious to be true. There's so much to do here at Gilmore Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Green Mt. Family Campground is a good site for that; there are some good whitewater spots on New Haven River. Man,
is there a lot of cool stuff to do in the Green Mountains. Lakes? Sure, Middlebury Water Supply is close by, and South Mountain is clearly visible from Gilmore Pond.

Country Village Campgrounds
 | 14 miles away 1 PHOTO Tent Sites, RV Hookups, Pets OK, Fires OK, Store, Nearby Grocery, Pool... - 36 RV hookups... ... at home. Quite a lot of cool stuff to do next to Country Village Campground, and it's one of those places where everything is close.
If only every location had this much outdoor entertaining stuff, what a great planet it would be. A tremendous place like Half Moon Pond State Park is near Country Village Campground and is too wonderful to leave out, and going for a hike on the Falls of Lana Trail is always a perfect adventure. All through the warm days of summer at Country Village Campground highs are mostly in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's with winter lows in the 0's. When the weather is good here at Country Village Campground, you can go for a hike along the Chandler Ridge Trail, and the friendly people of Brandon like to hang out nearby. The Duval Trail is a delightful hiking trail next to Country Village Campground, and a day on Pico Mountain is just what you need.

 | 15 miles away Been to Chittenden Brook Campgound for the last 15 years now...Best place I have ever camped anywhere in New England...Great babbling brook, thick woods..and not many camp sites!! This is true rustic camping...the only things offered at the campground is an outhouse and a brook for bathing..(coldest water I've ever been in).. wonderful hiking trails... beautiful beaver pond.... and generally some wonderful people around to sit around a fire with!!... |
