Go for a hike on the Battell Trail, and the skiing at Sugarbush is good. During the warmest time of the year here at Gilmore Pond, high temperatures ordinarily reach the 80's. Summer nighttime lows drop down to the 50's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Gilmore Pond are in the 0's. spots to explore along the Abbey Pond Trail. There are other spots here than Gilmore Pond, for example North Pond, and dry warm beds await you at Courtyard Middlebury. This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Green Mt. Family
Campground is a splendid spot to do that, and the vista of scenic South Mountain is perfect. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Maple Hill Campsites is always a great experience; if you come at the right time of year, New Haven
River offers some nice whitewater. The Green Mountains scenery is always beautiful. The amount of rain that falls at Gilmore Pond is close to the national average; the wettest month of the year is typically August, that's the one that rains the most; February is when it's the driest.
