This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the Abbey Pond Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region, and not far from Gilmore Pond you'll discover North Pond which is a delightful lake. A common amount of precipitation falls here at Gilmore Pond; most of the rain falls throughout August; February meanwhile is the driest month. High temperatures at Gilmore Pond all through the warm days       of summer are in the 80's; during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Highs all through the wintertime are commonly in the 20's while Gilmore Pond nighttime low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Mad River Glen if you're here; after a long day outdoors Courtyard By Marriott Middlebury is a delightful site to spend a night or two. Now, you may assume that's                  a lot but there's even more fun stuff to do here at Gilmore Pond. If you came to camp Maple Hill Campsites is a tremendous spot to do that, and hiking along the Beaver Meadow Trail is wonderful fun. Isham Brook is a stream that you may come across during your stay, and if you need a spot to stay The Middlebury Inn is a tremendous choice. While you're here at Gilmore Pond you can take a hike along the Battell Trail, and stunning scenery and tremendous skiing is what you get at Sugarbush. The Green Mountains scenery is always beautiful. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend New Haven River. So many entertaining things to do here in the Green Mountains, too glorious to be true. There's so much to do here at Gilmore Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Green Mt. Family Campground is a good site for that; there are some good whitewater spots on New Haven River. Man, is there a lot of cool stuff to do in the Green Mountains. Lakes?
