Stratton is less than three hours from Boston, four from New York City, and offers a big mountain resort experience close to home.

Named one of the 'Top 10 No Car Needed Resort' by On the Snow, everything at Stratton is right at your doorstep; from inspiring terrain, fine dining and shopping, a Spa, Sports Center, tubing and snowshoeing. Activities aplenty to keep thrill seekers and vacationers happy for days on end.

And while many a mountain touts great snow, Stratton guarantees it. Go out for an hour, any time, any day and if you are not thrilled, we'll give you a ticket for another day. That's confidence backed up by a snowmaking system (covering 95 percent of Stratton's terrain) so powerful it can bury a football field in three feet of snow in just one hour and what we call Gold Medal Grooming. You'll call it vivacious. ...

... environment. I suggest rebuilding ontop of old houses if you have the money to build a new house at all otherwise, renovate.I also wish to somehow reduce population which is nearly impossible to do all over the world, china has a good system for that (though a little strict its neccessary you only need two at the most anyway more than that is just rediculous) in building, we need roads, well when it rains the roads and the houses prevent the acidic rain from penetrating and filtering throughout the peat and other minerals in the ground. This filtration helps maintain proper ph (affects fish immensely) and filter sediment out (which hinders the gills of fish)not to mention aids in producing topsoil. so the acid rain is now draining in ditches and along the road into ... sadawga, harriman res., and any other local streams which WILL go to larger bodys of water affecting the fish in numerous ways. I'm just a local catch and release fisherman who has left home to make a difference at home and around the world. as for the natural gas emissions problems, I'm not so worried about that (tho...
