A charming lake like Mirror Lake near Forest Lake is a brilliant site to check out; one of the overriding features of the surroundings of Forest Lake is Foster Hill. If you like the outdoors, you'll have a thing about Forest Lake. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Stowe while you're here. King Ponds is a perfect lake near Forest Lake, and lots of people from Barre come       here. This lake is so wonderful. Do explore Mirror Lake Dam since you're here at Forest Lake; do take a hike on the Kettle Pond Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the Owls Head Trail is great fun; if you need a location to stay The Inn at Montpelier is a brilliant choice. Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining things in the Green Mountains. Have a perfect hiking adventure along the Osmore Pond Hiking Loop, and in case you don’t mind getting                  soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Winooski River. Onion River Campground is a wonderful campground nearby, and after a long day outdoors Days Inn Barre Montpelier is a great location to spend a night or two. This is no location for people who don’t like to have fun. Woodbury Golf Course is a golf course in close proximity to Forest Lake; getting to Dugar Brook from Forest Lake is easy. Forest Lake is a beautiful lake in the Green Mountains. Whitewater paddling is tremendous on Minister Brook, and if you came for an overnight stay Spooners Trailer Park and Campground is a glorious location to camp. Throughout the long summer days at Forest Lake highs are regularly in the 60's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 50's. For the period of the wintertime highs are commonly in the 10's with temperatures at Forest Lake dipping down into the 0's during winter nights.
