If you need a place to stay Comfort Inn & Suites is a fine choice; a great location for whitewater paddling is Wells River. If you like swamps, you're in luck, Ox-Bow Meadows is right close by, and do take a look at Wood Pond, it's a beautiful lake. This lake is so wonderful. The top of Pulaski Mountain is easily seen from The Fish Pond, also Fish Pond Dam is worth stopping at while you're here. Playing golf is lots       of fun at Blackmount Country Club, and dry warm beds await you at Ammonoosuc Inn. Pleasant Valley Camp Grounds is a good campground nearby; why not take a refreshing hike along the Chippewa Trail. Take a side visit to Harriman Brook, and there's good hiking along the Wrights Mountain Trail. And that's not all you can do here at The Fish Pond. Bailey Eddy is a magnificent local attraction, and hiking is a popular thing to do around The Fish Pond; Grimes Hill                  Road is a perfect local trail. Throughout the summer months highs here at The Fish Pond reach the 80's while overnight lows are regularly in the 50's. For the period of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's, and overnight lows in the 0's for The Fish Pond. That right there is lots already, but it keeps on going; The Fish Pond has it all. The Fish Pond is a pleasant location to visit for more than one day, Warners Campground is a pleasant location to camp nearby. The Fish Pond gets a normal amount of yearly precipitation; August is the wettest month with most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful.
