Hiking is a popular thing to do around Lake Fairlee; Dartmouth Outing Club Trail is a nice local trail; Lake Fairlee is good enough to spend more than a day at, Rest n' Nest Campground is a good local campground. A fine nearby hotel is Residence Inn Hanover Lebanon; Lake Fairlee Dam is delightful. This lake is so wonderful. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Whaleback, and a quick spree to Barker Brook is undeniably a delightful idea.

During the summer highs here at Lake Fairlee get into the 70's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 50's. Wrights Mountain Trail. So much amusing stuff close to Lake Fairlee, just remarkable. Swamps like Gillette Swamp are fun to visit, and close by you'll discover a wooded neighborhood called Thetford Municipal Forest. A delightful
site to camp here at Lake Fairlee is Rest N' Nest Campground, and you'll meet a lot of folks from Lebanon here. Lake Fairlee gets a typical amount of annual rainfall; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and the
driest of the months is February. You can run the rapids of Ompompanoosuc River near Lake Fairlee; why not take a refreshing hike along the Grimes Hill Road.

 | 18 miles away We have been campers on Ticklenaked Pond for 30 plus years and love it's pristine water and oh yes....the loons. We have now been seasonal campers for 8 years and plan on many more. This is a wonderful family campground with much to enjoy such as a fishing derby for the kids, pot luck dinners, karaoke, live bands at least a couple of times during the season, paddle boats to rent, swimming, boating, hot showers and many, many, wonderful folks.
