    A visit to Ewell Pond is always a good idea. All the outdoors fun stuff close to Ewell Pond will keep you coming back repeatedly. Comfort Inn & Suites is a great spot to get some rest, and going for a hike on the Big Deer Mountain Trail is always a brilliant adventure. This lake is so wonderful. There are some good whitewater spots on Joe's Brook River, and Ewell Pond is good enough to spend more than a day at, Sugar Ridge RV Village & Camp is a good local  
   campground. This lake is so wonderful. Head up to Lyndon Outing Club and strap some skis to your feet, and nearby you discover the Coldwater Brook Trail which is a great hiking trail.
A fine site to camp here at Ewell Pond is Harvey's Lake Cabins And Campground, and Keiser Pond is a nearby lake that you could explore. Whohoo, so much entertaining stuff in one place! The Green Mountains is unbeatable! On a brilliant day it's a great idea to spend the day
 
               at Boulder Beach; Sawyer Brook is near Ewell Pond and is always a bliss to check out. Now, you may feel that's plenty but there's even more exciting stuff to do here in the Green Mountains. The Peacham Bog Trail is a splendid hiking trail next to Ewell Pond; if you get bored of Ewell Pond you could also go to close by Keiser Pond.
This lake is one of the great places here in the Green Mountains. If you need a place to stay Fairbanks Inn is a glorious choice; Ewell Pond Dam is pretty. There's whitewater on Wells River for all you thrill seekers.
Through the summertime here at Ewell Pond, high temperatures mostly reach the 70's; during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's while the cold winter nights at Ewell Pond are in the 0's. An average amount of rain falls at Ewell Pond; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month.

Ticklenaked Pond
We have been campers on Ticklenaked Pond for 30 plus years and love it's pristine water and oh yes....the loons. We have now been seasonal campers for 8 years and plan on many more. This is a wonderful family campground with much to enjoy such as a fishing derby for the kids, pot luck dinners, karaoke, live bands at least a couple of times during the season, paddle boats to rent, swimming, boating, hot showers and many, many, wonderful folks.
The proprietors, Harry and Sandy Cushing are great hosts. Come join us for a night, a weekend or for the season.
