    If you are traveling by, why not stop by Equinox Pond. A large amount of precipitation falls at Equinox Pond; during the month of August you get the most rain around here while February is frequently the driest month. Stay the night at Dorset RV Park; there's whitewater on Battenkill River for all you adrenaline junkies. The surroundings of this lake have so much to offer. Hiking along the Branch Pond Trail is splendid fun, and the snow is glorious at Snow Valley.
 
   Whohoo, so much enjoyable stuff in one place! The Green Mountains is great! Arcady At The Sunderland Lodge is a perfect site to get some rest, and get your heart pumping on the splendid whitewater of Roaring Branch. For the duration of the warm days of summer, highs mostly are in the 80's at Equinox Pond while nighttime lows are generally in the 50's. For the period of the winter the highs are typically in the 30's while Equinox Pond night low temperatures during  
               the wintertime are in the 0's. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors cool things the area near Equinox Pond has to offer. If you need a spot to stay The Equinox is a splendid choice, and Equinox Country Club is a pleasant golf course nearby.
This lake is one of the great places here in the Green Mountains. This lake is a wonderful place to visit. From Equinox Pond you get a great vista of Deer Knoll; you can have a great hiking adventure along the Cooridor 7. Now, you may believe that's a load but there's even more amusing things to do here in the Green Mountains. People from Bennington love to come to Equinox Pond. There's so much to do here at Equinox Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Camping on the Batten Kill Campground is a great location for that.
Cook Hollow is a great place to visit nearby, and a day on the slopes of Bromley is just what you need. Take a hike on the Lye Brook Trail.
