Do stop by Emerald Lake while you're in this part of Vermont. There's whitewater on Mill River for all you adrenaline people, and dry warm beds await you at Inns at the Equinox. The snow is wonderful at Bromley, and people from Bennington love to come here. Just can't get enough of the Green Mountains. There's a great forest close to Emerald Lake called Emerald Lake State Forest, and a lake nearby is Griffith Lake. This lake is so wonderful. You get a great sight

| | of Dorset Hill from Emerald Lake; South Village Pond is a nearby lake that you could take a look at. And if that's not sufficient there's a heap more amusing things to do in the Green Mountains. Stay the night at Campground A, and Gulf Brook is one of the streams nearby that might be worth visiting. Through the warm months highs here at Emerald Lake get into the 80's. and throughout the dark hours in the winter at Emerald Lake temperatures drop to the 0's. Emerald Lake is located in the Green Mountains. Emerald Lake is a wet place that gets a lot of rainfall; August is the wettest month with
most rain while February is frequently the driest month. If you have a thing about the outdoors, you'll adore Emerald Lake. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Snow Valley; do take a hike on the Lake Trail.
Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Big Branch. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Emerald Lake has to offer, you can camp at Campground B. So much enjoyable stuff to do here
at Emerald Lake, too magnificent to be true. Have a great hiking adventure along the Baker Peak Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Mad Tom Trail, and if you need a place to stay Manchester View Fine Lodging is a pleasant choice.
