The beauty of Lake Elmore is reason enough to stop by. This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Lamoille River - Wild Branch; glorious water scenery is available at Lake Elmore Dam next to Lake Elmore. All the water falling down from the sky makes Lake Elmore a wet location; the wettest month of the year is commonly August, that's the one that rains the most; February is the month with the least moisture. | | usually tend to be in the 80's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's. Throughout the wintertime the highs are ordinarily in the 20's with temperatures at Lake Elmore dipping down into the 0's throughout winter nights.

Mountains, just amazing. The top of Elmore Mountain is easily observed from Lake Elmore, and after a long day outdoors Golden Eagle Resort is a magnificent place to spend a night or two. That right there is plenty already, but it
carries on; Lake Elmore has it all. Commodores Inn is a tremendous location to get some rest, and Lake Elmore is a location with many visitors from Barre.
Stowe has good slopes and a friendly staff; there's some flowing water
nearby, Elmore Pond Brook is a stream you can explore while here. Mountain View Campground is a great local campground; wonderful hiking is available along the Hedgehop Hill Loop Trail. If you're a golfer then a delightful nearby
course is Copley Golf Course, and since you're here, you could also visit beautiful Lake Elmore.
This lake is located in the wonderful Green Mountains. And that's not all you can do here in the Green Mountains. Lakeview Camping
Area is a pleasant campground nearby, and Smugglers Notch is a very popular ski area around here. This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, Minister Brook offers some magnificent whitewater, and don't leave Lake Elmore without first going for a hike along the Bayley Hazen Military Road Trail.
