     Elfin Lake is always a pleasure to visit. If you want a tremendous time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Green Mountains. If you came for an overnight stay Otter Creek Campground is a perfect place to camp, and dry warm beds await you at Red Roof Inn Rutland - Killington. These mountains rock, just check out all the exciting stuff to do in the Green Mountains. Through the summer at Elfin Lake temperatures are ordinarily in the 80's. Summer night  
   lows plunge down to the 50's. Through the winter highs are in the 20's; overnight lows through the wintertime for Elfin Lake tend to be in the 0's.
If you want a great time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Elfin Lake. Iroquios Land Family is a good campground nearby, and the slopes of Bromley are so inviting noone can resist. There are plenty of people from Rutland here at Elfin Lake, and if you've had enough of Elfin Lake, Chipman Lake is close
 
               by. Near Elfin Lake you discover a golf course called Stonehedge Golf Course, unsurprisingly you could also check out Little Rock Pond if you're here; it's not far at all.
This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is wonderful here at Elfin Lake, you can go for a hike along the Homer Stone Trail, and if you come at the right time of year, Mill River offers some nice whitewater. Be careful coming to Elfin Lake, you might not ever want to return back home again. Wallingford Municipal Forest is a forest in close proximity to Elfin Lake that you can go to, and on a tremendous day you can take a hike along the Green Mountain Trail. It's a good idea to explore Roaring Brook, it's in the neighborhood of Elfin Lake, and going for a hike along the Keewaydin Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity.
Yep, outdoors cool things truly is abundant here in the Green Mountains. There are some great whitewater spots on Big Branch; everyone nearby loves skiing at Snow Valley. Elfin Lake is located in the Green Mountains. This lake is so wonderful.
