From a rain point of view Elfin Lake

is a relatively common place; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain; February is when it's the driest. Any time is a pleasant time at Elfin Lake if you have a thing about the outdoors. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Snow Valley, and hiking along the Green Mountain Trail is nice fun. This lake is located in the wonderful Green Mountains.
Now, you may imagine that's loads but there's even more exciting things

to do here in the Green Mountains. At Elfin Lake you always meet someone from Rutland, and after a long day outdoors Holiday Inn RUTLAND-KILLINGTON AREA is a nice place to spend a night or two. Camping is available at Iroquios Land Family, and the vista of Green Hill is lovely. The snow is fine at Bromley; the Keewaydin Trail offers hiking at its best.
Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Elfin Lake. Through the moonlight hours it's generally in the 50's. Highs all through the wintertime are mostly in the 20's with temperatures at Elfin Lake dipping down into the 0's throughout winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. In case you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Mill River; if you need a place to stay Hampton Inn Rutland is a nice choice. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Otter Creek Campground is always a fine experience, and if you're here and you like golf, you can have a look at Stonehedge Golf Course.
Whohoo, so much enjoyable stuff in one place! The Green Mountains is so good! Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always explore nearby Little Rock Pond; some of the water close by flows, like Roaring Brook.
