Go to Lake Eden if you want to go to a nice lake. This lake is one of the great places here in the Green Mountains. So many amusing things to do in the Green Mountains, not enough time. Lake Eden Dam is not far at all from Lake Eden, and after a long day outdoors Commodores Inn is a nice place to spend a night or two. Throughout the long summer days at Lake Eden highs are generally in the 80's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Daytime

| | highs during the winter are in the 20's; throughout the dark hours in the winter at Lake Eden temperatures plunge to the 0's. Hiking along the Bayley Hazen Military Road Trail is splendid fun, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Gihon River. This lake is so wonderful. A good place to camp here at Lake Eden is Lakeview Camping Area, and Stowe is a glorious local ski area. There's no way anybody can get bored here in the Green Mountains. Lake Eden is not | |

Branch in a kayak. Lake Eden is a wet site that gets a large amount of rain; August is when you get the most rain here, and February is when it's the driest. The skiing at Jay Peak is pleasant; Golden Eagle Resort is a brilliant place to get some rest.
