In Vermont there are many beautiful lakes, Eddy Pond is one of them. This lake is one of the great places here in the Green Mountains. Get your pulse rate up on the great whitewater of Mill River, and the slopes of Pico Mountain are so inviting nobody can resist. There's no way somebody can get bored here in the Green Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Here at Eddy Pond there are plenty of folks from Rutland; going for a hike along the Keewaydin Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity. Eddy Pond is a good place of typical rain; during the month of
August you get the most rain around here; the driest month is February. Summertime at Eddy Pond arrives with high temperatures in the 80's, and the nighttime is fairly cooler of course, ordinarily in the 50's. High temperatures through
the winter are normally in the 20's; overnight lows at Eddy Pond through the winter usually plunge into the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Gotta ski! Killington is a wonderful location to do that; why not spend some time golfing at a nearby golf course like Rutland Country Club.
