If you are in Windsor county it's always a good idea to stop by Echo Lake. So many exciting things to do in the Green Mountains, not enough time. Yep, outdoors exciting things to do are beyond doubt bountiful here at Echo Lake. If you need a place to stay The Pointe at Castle Hill Resort is a perfect choice; Killington is a magnificent local ski area. You're probably hooked on lakes, Lake Rescue is one of those nearby, and why not camp at Sugarhouse Campground

A round of golf at nearby Okemo Valley Golf Club is a great way to kill some time, and the Juggernaut Trail offers hiking at its best. beautiful. Echo Lake gets much water; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. You completely must love Echo Lake. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Okemo is near
Echo Lake, and there are some pleasant whitewater spots on West River. Do pop by Lake Rescue Dam if you're here at Echo Lake, and if you've had enough of Echo Lake, Amherst Lake is close by. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Black
River; dry warm beds await you at Jackson Gore Inn on Okemo Mountain. This lake is so wonderful. Why not check out Carpenter Point also if you're here; why not take a refreshing hike along the Barnard Trail. Through the summertime
months here at Echo Lake, high temperatures mostly reach the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. All through the wintertime highs are regularly in the 30's; overnight lows in the 10's for Echo Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Bucklin Trail; Blueberry Hill can be seen from Echo Lake.
