This place, Echo Lake, it truly has so much outdoors entertaining stuff. A splendid close by hotel is The Pointe at Castle Hill Resort, of course you could also have a look at Lake Rescue while you're here; it's not far at all. All year is a brilliant time in the Green Mountains if you adore the outdoors. Sugarhouse Campground is a pleasant local campground, and Buffalo Brook is one of the streams close by that might be worth taking a look at. Echo Lake is one

| | of the lakes here in the Green Mountains. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Black River, and a spree to Carpenter Point is always a great idea. But wait, there's more to do close to Echo Lake. Go for a hike on the Bucklin Trail, and at Echo Lake you can make out Blueberry Hill. Life's too short to enjoy all the amusing things in the Green Mountains. rain, and the driest month of the year is February. This lake is so wonderful. Okemo Valley Golf Club is a golf course close to Echo Lake, and skiing at Killington is one of those things you just should do. For the period of the summertime
months here at Echo Lake, high temperatures typically get into the 80's. Summer nighttime lows dip down to the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are mostly in the 30's while Echo Lake overnight low temperatures through the
wintertime are in the 10's. Echo Lake is a good spot to visit for more than one day, Coolidge State Park is a good spot to camp nearby, and a lake nearby is Amherst Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Very splendid water scenery
is available at Lake Rescue Dam in close proximity to Echo Lake, and if you need a place to stay Jackson Gore Inn on Okemo Mountain is a splendid choice. So much cool stuff to do here in the Green Mountains, too great to be true.
There is a pleasant hiking trail close to Echo Lake called the Juggernaut Trail; there are some glorious whitewater spots on West River. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Okemo if you're here, and going for a hike on the Barnard Trail is always a delightful adventure.
