These mountains rock, just explore all the amusing things to do in the Green Mountains. Burke Mountain is a brilliant local ski area. There's so much to do here at Echo Lake that you need to camp here for a while, White Caps Campground is a glorious location for that. This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Mount       Pisgah Trail. Lakes? Sure, Echo Lake is in the neighborhood. This is no place for people who don’t like to have a good time. There's some flowing water close by, Allyn Brook is a stream you can take a look at during your stay. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Echo Lake has to offer, you can camp at Will-o-wood Campground. One of the principal highlights of the surroundings of Echo Lake is Deer Hill; there are other places here than Echo                  Lake, for example Mud Pond. Throughout the summertime months highs here at Echo Lake reach the 70's while night lows are mostly in the 50's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 20's, and night lows throughout the winter for Echo Lake tend to be in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Echo Lake; Herbert Hawkes Hiking Trail is a pleasant local trail, and Barton River is a good whitewater spot close by. A good close by hotel is Holiday Motel and Annex. If you want a pleasant time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Green Mountains. There's fine hiking along the South Shore Hiking Trail, and everybody close by loves skiing at Lyndon Outing Club. This lake is one of the great places here in the Green Mountains.
