This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are great; Muddy Pond is a lake that's near Eastman Pond. Eastman Pond is a good place of typical precipitation; throughout August this area sees the most rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month. There's no way someone can get bored here in the Green Mountains. There's whitewater on Waits River for all you adrenaline kick people, and there are delightful sites to discover along the Peacham Bog Trail. This lake is

| | located in the wonderful Green Mountains. Stay the night at Ricker Campground, and after a long day outdoors Fairbanks Inn is a good location to spend a night or two. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Wells River, and do take some time to stop by Newbury Municipal Forest if you're here. wintertime comes with highs in the 20's; during the dark hours in the winter at Eastman Pond temperatures descend to the 0's. That right there is a heap already, but it continues; Eastman Pond has it all. The peak of Mason Mountain
can be made out from Eastman Pond, and Comfort Inn & Suites is a brilliant spot to get some rest. Yep, outdoors amusing things truly is plentiful here in the Green Mountains. Not far from Eastman Pond, you'll find Long Pond which
is a picturesque lake, and going for a hike on the Wrights Mountain Trail is always a great adventure. This lake is so wonderful. Pleasant Valley Camp Grounds is a brilliant campground nearby, and you can go for a hike on the Groton State Forest Nature Trail.

 | We have been campers on Ticklenaked Pond for 30 plus years and love it's pristine water and oh yes....the loons. We have now been seasonal campers for 8 years and plan on many more. This is a wonderful family campground with much to enjoy such as a fishing derby for the kids, pot luck dinners, karaoke, live bands at least a couple of times during the season, paddle boats to rent, swimming, boating, hot showers and many, many, wonderful folks.
