The Osmore Pond Hiking Loop is a delightful hiking trail right next door to East Long Pond, and if you came for an overnight stay Idle Hours Campground is a great spot to camp. The Green Mountains scenery is always beautiful. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors amusing things the area in the neighborhood of East Long Pond has to offer. For you golfers we recommend close by Woodbury Golf Course, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Winooski River.

You're sure to come across some smiling people from Barre here; unsurprisingly, this is a glorious neighborhood for folks who like lakes, Nichols Pond is a lake close at hand. So many cool things to do in the Green Mountains, not enough time. Pond. If the weather is pleasant here at East Long Pond, you can go for a hike along the Kettle Pond Trail; Larry and Sons Campground is a wonderful local campground. This lake is so wonderful. You're almost certainly interested
in lakes, Mud Pond is one of those nearby; if you come at the right time of year, Lamoille River - Wild Branch offers some nice whitewater. If you need a place to stay Days Inn Barre Montpelier is a magnificent choice, and there are
swamps here too, Martell Swamp is around here. East Long Pond sees pretty high levels of rainfall; all through the month of August you get the most rain around here, and February is when it's the driest. Summer brings highs in
the 80's to East Long Pond. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's with temperatures at East Long Pond dipping down into the 0's all through winter nights. This place, the Green
Mountains, has so much outdoors cool things. Near East Long Pond you find the Owls Head Trail which is a glorious hiking trail, and a great close by hotel is Hollow Inn and Motel.
