While you're here at East Barre Reservoir you can take a hike along the Owls Head Trail, and of course Baker Brook flows through this region. If you love the outdoors you'll love it here in the Green Mountains. Float down the rapids of Minister Brook in a kayak, and you'll meet a lot of folks from Barre here. on Winooski River is so much fun, and a great place to camp here at East Barre Reservoir is Lazy Lions Campground. East Barre Reservoir is a beautiful lake in the Green Mountains. East Barre Reservoir beyond doubt is in the middle
of a picturesque outdoors paradise. You'll really wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun things in the Green Mountains. Camping is available at Green Valley Campground, and you can have a wonderful hiking adventure along
the Silver Ledge Trail. The yearly rainfall here at East Barre Reservoir is about average; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month is February. This lake is so wonderful. Hollow Inn and Motel
is a delightful spot to get some rest, and East Barre Reservoir is not the only place nearby, Lower Orange Reservoir is a nearby lake. Dry warm beds await you at Days Inn Barre Montpelier; do stop by East Barre Dam since you're here.
