Paddling on Otter Creek is so much fun; do take a hike on the Keewaydin Trail. Lake Dunmore is located in the Green Mountains. So much cool stuff to do here in the Green Mountains, too great to be true. Rattlesnake Point is a great spot to pop by while in the area, and Middlebury River has a great whitewater paddling spot close by. The warmest time of the year at Lake Dunmore arrives with       high temperatures in the 80's; the overnight is rather chillier of course, commonly in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's while Lake Dunmore overnight low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 0's. If you came to camp Point Counterpoint is a magnificent spot to do that, and what would winter be without some skiing at Sugarbush. All year is a great time in the Green Mountains if you love the outdoors. Take a little tour to North Branch                  Sucker Brook while you're here at Lake Dunmore, and don't leave Lake Dunmore without first paying a visit to Falls of Lana.
